Grateful Dead (+ related) Shows & Albums: Whole List
*** If you're reading this, I'm probably dead by suicide. It's amazing how one woman can destroy a man's life, seemingly without any care whatsoever. I was once one of the most important people in the world to her. I never imagined that I'd have to end my life to get rid of so much pain. All I wanted was for things to get better, to return to listening to this great music, to have a normal life. But she made sure that would never be.
If any links are not working, I'm sorry.
Enjoy the tunes.

Zooma, haven't grabbed anything yet but will eventually. There are some tasty tidbits. What you're doing here is "grately" appreciated. Why don't you drop in at Deadhook more often?
great blog!
with the recent crack down by rhino we need more blogs like this.

Wow... share a few free songs and you get all kinds of people stopping to visit. LOL
Wow! Thanks! I appreciate this.
I just discovered the Dead a few weeks ago, and I had a roommate in grad school who had been on tour with them! I am a little slow. I discovered your blog in the search for shows and I wanted to give you my thanks. I thought there would be more Dead blogs than I am finding. I appreciate your efforts.
the man -- hey now! Your appreciation is appreciated!
Better to get into good music late than never at all! I hope you're able to dig some of the cool shows here!
And thanks to everyone who's commented on this post and others!
Enjoy the tunes!!!
once in a while you get shown the light in the strange distant places if you look at it right . . .

Thank you for commenting on my site. I would never have found all this incredible music otherwise.
This must take up a lot of your time, but you must know it's worth it. Just downloaded Jer-Merl'73...and I am grinning ear to ear!!
It's individuals like yourself who keep the flame forever burning, and I thank you for that, truly.
Those were the best of times..
Scotty

From an Unbiased Observer
Hey now. I am leaving you a comment and it's my first time here - I linked through Grateful Breed's blog - thanks for your efforts on The Long Strange Trip and (HEY NOW!) it's only a couple more months until The Dead hit "the road" for Spring Tour 2009
How do I upload some shows to you? To your e-mail address? I have a great collection of Phil & Phriends from various venues since 1998; also Peter Rowan, Merle, Tuna etc etc.
Hey Now Adam Dean,
All the Phil shows are at Archive.org and I don't even time to enjoy those. Life's just too short for all the great music there is. My head's already spinning from what I have. But listen, your offer is most appreciated! Maybe you can find a way to share what you have. Start your own blog or just upload to Rapidshare, for instance, and start a thread at The Lost Sailor's Pub and tell people there what you've uploaded.
Thanks for the comment and for letting me know.
And thanks for all the comments. WAY too many people download all the damn time without every saying anything so it's good to hear from some of ya's every now and again.
Peace.
Thanks again for the lovely Blog.
Just grabbed 2 Old & in the Way shows. "My GRASS IS BLUE!"
cheers!
~libertycaps
way to go - we really need you to keep up the good work!

Anyway, looking forward to the 4/24 sbd from nassau
So much Dead, so little time. Thanks again for all the killer tunes, Zooma.
Thank you for the BK3
HOLD ME TIGHT AND DON'T LET GO!
many many thanks from a smiling Felix :)
i hope the opening statement on this site didnt happen. please, give yourself some time. it will get better
Hope you haven't actually harmed yourself, but this blog went from Grateful to Hateful in a short time. Consider the possibility that it's you who changed and not your woman? Hope it works out for you.
Zooma,
I too read your post with horror. I just have to say this, do not take your life over a failed love, you can find another, as I just heard the other night on NYE during Wharf Rat "get up and fly away", Dust yourself off, and keep on walking the road of life. My best friend from childhood killed himself this summer and it's left deep pain and worry in my head and heart. The Why, the how. Don't do it. It's hard to move on from love you've enjoyed for a long time, but things change as do people.
I've enjoyed gnabbing things off here and I'd love to see you continue on in happiness.
Nuff Said?
CHIN UP CHUM
I TOO JUST LOST THE GIRL I DEEPLY LOVE, BEEN TOGETHER 20 YEARS.
I CHECK BACK ONCE A MONTH TO SEE IF YOUR BACK WITH US
IT'S NEARLY A YEAR NOW
MARCH OR DIE (SORRY FOR THE PUN)
FREAKYPETE.
Somebody has hacked Zooma's email - his address is sending my email junk now.
Hope you are okay, man.
Hope u still notice the blue skies, flowers, birds and the pretty ladies....alot worth livin for..its all around u.....Now if I could figure out why I cant download anything....Im on a mac....
What a freaking grate list. Jerry and his music should serve as an inspiration to us all. Sites like this help keep the music around for the next generation.
