Tryin' this out...
New for me today... one of those Meme dealies. I've seen these around but haven't taken part. It looks like a good excuse to write even if just a little bit. This one might not be too involved, I don't know yet but if so then I'll see what else there is for Sundays...

1. Situation :: You never wanna be in a bad one!
2. Theme song :: This automatically popped into my mind, it's not the exact song that represents me... there might not truly be one of those, but this is on my mind and I just heard Jon sing this not too long ago at Live Earth (on TV) . . .
from Bon Jovi's "Have a Nice Day" album:
Who Says You Can't Go Home
I spent 20 years trying to get out of this place
I was looking for something I couldn´t replace
I was running away from the only thing I´ve ever known
And like a blind dog without a bone
I was a gypsy lost in the twilight zone
I hijacked a rainbow and crashed into a pot of gold
I´ve been there, done that, I ain´t lookin´ that
The seeds I´ve sown, saving dimes, spending too much time on the telephone
Who says you can´t go home
[Chorus]
Who says you can´t go home
There´s only one place that call me one of their own
Just a hometown boy, born a rolling stone, who says you can´t go home
Who says you can´t go back, been all around the world and that´s a matter of fact
There´s only one place left I want to go, who says you can´t go home
It´s alright, it´s alright, it´s alright, it´s alright, its alright
I went as far as I could, I tried to find a new face
There isn´t one of these lines that I would erase
I left a million mile of memories on that road
And every step I take I know that I´m not alone
You take the home from the boy, but not the boy from his home
These are my streets, the only life I´ve ever known,
who says you can´t go home
The song really is me, or a big part of me... I left my home and made a new life in Utah and then in Montana and then in Alaska. But it's New Jersey that I long to go back to. It's just so expensive compared to almost everywhere else in this whole country. Perhaps one day I'll cruise on back for good... and as I drive across the Stateline this song will be playing!
3. Kelly :: Lynch. Actress ... or Jim, former NFL QB and a really good guy.
4. Club :: Football i.e. Chelsea FC who will be in the U.S. playing the Los Angeles Beckham Herbalife's soon.
5. Swerve :: What you do to avoid hitting a moose.
6. Couch :: What you sit on when you're veggin' out watching TV or a movie.
7. Bigfoot :: Hairy beast that is probably a fake yet people are still looking for a real one.
8. Arbitrary :: Pretty much, but not always, how I choose what music to listen to.
9. Inventor :: Edison, Thomas Alva, who invented in New Jersey and as kids growing up not too far away we got to take a fieldtrip to the National Park that is his laboratory.
10. Blazer :: Chevy, not as cool as a Ford Bronco!

Just checking out your Mutterings. Hope you'll post every Sunday, I enjoyed reading this.
Totally agree on Bronco vs. Blazer thing. I'm not really a Ford fan, but the Bronco was a cool ride. (Not as cool as VW's, but that doesn't even need to be spoken. It's a given.)
