Mutterings visiting IN, IL, SJ, WWII, U2, the Rhein... and AK, of course
ACHTUNG! ACHTUNG!! Mutterings shall commence when I say they commence! Not sooner. Not later. Are we clear? Alrighty then.
Since I have nothing to really say up here... since I've finished what's below, I might just put a wrap on this and say... let the mutterings commence....
not yet...
wait for it......
Now.
Unconscious Mutterings |
a free association game -- I say... and you think ... ?
1. Referral :: job application
2. Indiana :: Hoosiers
3. Foil :: aluminum
4. Horizon :: Rosemont ... a fine name, once upon a time, for a mid-sized arena in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois (out near O'Hare.) Unfortunately the name was changed to one of those moronic corporate names which I simply will not type here. I believe the former Rosemont Horizon is home to a minor league hockey team and the Grateful Dead played there a bunch of times through the years.
5. Event :: Center ... i didn't have a specific one in mind but across America there are many small arenas called an "Event Center" such as the Event Center Arena at San Jose State University where the Jerry Garcia Band played once in April of 1992.
6. Sailing :: Sea
7. Footage :: War ... I just a little while ago finished watching quite a thought-provoking movie -- Beach Red -- about the battle for an island in the Pacific during WWII and there was an arrogant cameraman filming footage of the... the blood.
8. Sunday :: Bloody Sunday ... popular(?) song by some band possibly from Ireland?
9. Breathtaking :: Alaska Range ... mountains here in Alaska that have North America's tallest peak -- Denali at 20,320 ft (6194 m)

10. Dude! :: What's up? Dude, man... totally! Sweet ride, dude! Oh man, what a sweet show, dude! Dude! What are you doing?!?! Dude? Dude?!? Gnarly, dude. Hey, dude, wanna see U2?

Chris! You crack me up! I did not know that they changed the name of the Rosemont Horizon. That bites! Beautiful overlook.
You've always got the most interesting answers! Love the photo of Denali, really gorgeous.
