Здравствуйте! Как дела?

Grateful Dead Steal Your Face peace sign over planet Earth

Over the past day or so, a Deadhead from Ukraine has been stopping by Inspiration, Move Me Brightly every few hours and raiding, so to say, all of (or a lot of... but truly it's looking literally like ALL of) the Dead and related stuff I've put up... even clicking over to linked shows on Archive.

By order of the Freaky Crew of Deadheads,
I command you -- Identify Yourself!

Just kidding. You don't have to. But I spend a lot of time uploading shows for people (I don't upload them for myself!) and I'd really dig hearing from the Deadheads out there. Those who I converse with regularly or semi-regularly, you may stand down, we're cool. But come on now, everyone else...

DEAD FREAKS UNITE
Who Are You? Where Are You?

How Are You?

Меня зовут Chris!

Through the years I've become friends with so many Deadheads and so many countless more I've casually met... many have been some of the best people I've ever known in my life. It truly was a family and in some ways it still is.

It's strange that those who download Dead & related stuff from here seem so very unappreciative. I think it's a shame. I hardly have any idea if any one gives a crap whether I keep posting shows or not. That's how ungrateful the masses seem to be. One time a Brit living in Spain said "Hi" and that was very cool of him to do so! But there are people out there downloading from England and France and Germany and Slovenia and Ukraine and Tennessee and New York City and Minneapolis, who might as well be soulless automatons.

For all the shows I've posted...
and for all those I think I might still put up in the future...

You're Welcome!
Пожалуйста!
(sorry, I don't know Ukrainian)

Well, I appreciate you and if you ever get back to NYC, there's an icy cold beer waiting for you in the upper deck at Shea.

Mmmmm, Pukeweiser in the Upper Deck? I'll be sure to bring my telescope and rob a bank beforehand to pay for parking and hot dogs.

I have a Guiness (or three) in South Jersey as well in the back yard. But here it'll be chessesteaks (after one you'll have to run back to Alaska to get back in shape).

Keep posting the shows.

Roger a.k.a. solarmusicfreak: hey! Welcome! Thanks for stoppin' by and leavin' a comment.

I was lookin' at setlists and the earliest Chinese New Year GD celebration I found was '85... nothing in 83 or 84.

If you happen to read this -- drop me an email and I'll see if I can help you find whatever show you're referring to.

I suspect you'll disagree but I find that most people who identify themselves as hippies today are (for the most part) a selfish, entitled breed.

But I will save my hippie rant for another day and instead offer you all the beer you can drink should you ever make it to Korea. :)

I am of the opinion that the easier you make things available, the less thanks you get. The opposite view is the more complicated you make it the less likely you are to be thanked anyway. Dichotomy, quandary or just plain bloody mindedness, your call. However, thanks from just another deadhead with nothing to prove.
Peace and love to you all.
