Yet Another Untitled Mutterings Post

Wow, I can't believe it's Sunday again... already.
Seems like I just did this just the other day...

from LunaNina.com... this meme is called: Unconscious MutteringsUnconscious Mutterings

a free association game

The word is
:: and I think ... ?

1. Carpet :: bagger

2. Bottoms :: Up!

3. Music :: Never Stopped ... a Grateful Dead song that this blog URL is named after... but the blog title is from a whole 'nother song.

4. Nails :: Lenny Dykstra!!!!!!!!! New York Mets centerfielder when they won the World Series in 1986... "Nails" was his nickname.
Mets-Dykstra

5. Watch it! :: Look out, bub.

6. Your life :: as we know it ... I have no clue why that came to mind. Sounds like something out of an infomercial or self-esteem/confidence boosting seminar: "Your life as we know it will be completely transformed and you, too, can make millions. Just give us $299.99 for our introductory package of materials to get you on your way..."

7. Candies :: yum, yay, who doesn't want to eat candies?!

8. Chafing :: something with skin rubbing uncomfortably against another surface.

9. Svelte :: whatever ... a word I don't care about that I'd more than likely never have uttered if it weren't for these mutterings.

10. Ding :: Dong ... doorbell / yummy junk food from Hostess. I'd never buy those but ya know what, Sugarmag? THESE are what I really want for Christmas!!!!!! Never Hostess... Drake's, baby! RING DINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What I also want for Christmas
is to reach our $100 Salvation Army fundraising goal...
Have you got a just an extra dollar or two?

Personal fundraising widget for 2008 Red Kettle campaign

Thanks :)

Happy Mutterings!

Yep, your sentiment about the movie release is exactly how my dear hubs feels. I on the other hand, just don't like the idea of having it released on Christmas day...there, for me in my opinion, are much better and more entertaining movies to be seen...even if it were for the fact I felt the need to go out on the day.

Happy Holidays to you too. Hope you find comfort and peace for 2009 too.

Yum, ring dings! We had one match and I enjoyed your mutterings very much. Have a great Sunday!

Loved Hostess pies when I was a kid; now I can't imagine eating one - too sweet. My favorite junk food lies more on the salty/fatty flavor end of the taste continuum. Hope you get Ring Dings in your Christmas stocking!

Your #6 made me laugh! And I agree with your #7. Unless, of course, the candies happened to be chocolate. Chocolate is icky. ;-D

one says one number and the other another
but they were set at the same time. Hmmm...

i love you amy uzarski. always!
