Wednesday Post for Wednesday

D'OH! It's Thursday. I lost a day somewhere. Anyway...

Headaches suck. So does the electricity in the neighborhood going out 8 times in about 90 minutes for no good reason whatso-freakin-ever. And then that screwed up (broke) the heating/air conditioning unit? This morning, when it happened, it was around 33 outside. No wonder it got so cold in the house. I LOVE the cold but fortunately (because of the heating unit breaking down) the temperature today got to about 63. Had it been around 50 or lower, the inside of the house would've become a hypothermia-causing icebox. I'm not exactly Tim "The Toolman" Taylor but I can fairly easily conquer many home repairs without much of a problem... but this is a repair that's beyond my expertise; Mr. Home Heating Guy is working on it now.

Because of this crapola, 100 Days O' the Dead is taking another day off... well, what I mean is there's no download for anyone... but I amn't ignoring the Dead today, nope, technically I'm actively taking part in Day 72 by listening to some tunes. I've got yesterday's show playing again and later I'm gonna give a listen to tomorrow's show. This whole 100 Days thing wasn't solely about giving people as many downloads as possible, it's also about me personally listening everyday, something I was a million miles from over the summer.

So to fulfill my desire to post something meaningful or just simply meaningless, I'll conquer another meme dealie.

I saw this a few days ago at Tall Cool Drink of Water...

Boldly going where no meme has gone before. OK. The idea is that every blogger who participates has the same list of 100 Things. Then each individual blogger makes the things they’ve done bold.

I don't have one of those things that people get, what are they called, when you pay every month -- service plan? I've had Pay-As-You-Go and I've had a grand total of like 2 minutes on the phone for the past TWO months! That's how much I don't use it. Cell phones might be handy for some people but seriously, are they really needed? No. For too many people they're an unneeded expense that takes away from a person's ability to give to charity. More and more monthly expenses leaves us with less to give to others in need -- we're the selfish society. I know, I know, we give more to charity than any other nation on Earth... but we COULD do more. (We just don't care to.)

99. Been stung by a bee

100. Read an entire book in one day
