Exercise

Saturday late morning Run: 26 minutes 57 sec | +6 sec |
4 Days Since My Last Run ● 11:40 a.m. ● 80° ● mostly sunny
Woke up late, coolest part of the morning had passed, almost put this off for another day, but decided no frickin' way I was gonna go 5 days without significant exercise.
I achieved success in my run but running today just totally sucked. Once I got to the trail and was stretching I felt pretty eager to go... but before I turned around at the halfway (or so) mark, I wanted to quit. Ugh. Why was it such a crappy run? The heat perhaps... even though it wasn't that hot. Able I was to push through the thoughts of quitting. I slowed my pace despite the songs in my ears being at a higher Beats Per Minute than how fast I was moving. When I came to the end of my Play List and heard my cue to stop, I was tired. Sitting down and resting now, I feel okay. Maybe I just didn't sleep well enough last night. Exercise on not a full and good night's sleep is not the best thing in the world... 27 minutes of running isn't out of the question, it wasn't today, but this shoulda been easier. Ah well... once again -- I got it done and that's a good thing.
