Dear, I understand completely. Sadly, it may be inescapable--these times and all. Similar mass-murderings (is that what they should be called?) have occurred elsewhere around the globe, including peaceful Canada, and gun-controlled Germany. Simply cannot understand it, but I like your tactic best. Turn off all communications devices. Go take a long walk. Exactly.
And don't forget the 35 dead and 18 injured in a shooting in Tasmania in 1996. Shit happens. Even in Australia.
That sucks about Tasmania. Don't remember that one. Guess it can happen anywhere... thing is in the good ol' U.S. of A. it's more likely to happen. In any case, I was gonna scratch Oz off my list anyway and think about New Zealand instead (bigger mountains!)
