First time I've ever heard any solo material from the leading man of the great Aussie band The Church. Why'd I wait so long? Well, 'cause I've never been a huge collector of music. Now with a subscription service, I get to indulge in everything I ever wanted to, plus try out other stuff that I may never have listened to. Steve Kilbey was in the first category and it was great to finally be able to hear one of his albums. And this one is from that certain era that I really dig. That's not to say other albums from other years aren't just as good... they could even be better, but this was so sweet! A few songs made for a great run and the rest for a great hike back up the trail. Definitely lookin' forward to downloading this dude again.

hey have you checked out some of the Churches pics from the recent tour?
Steve Kilbey the smile he plays while he's wearing
the bass
I'm telling you the man's a fucking genie-ous!
I dig your play list fella
all that jazz
sexy and sweet
have you ever been to Mexico?
I've been to Puerto Rico's rum diaries
in late 90's while a student
it was the only trip I've taken that my then partner wanted to walk the road less traveled
which is too bad, cause it was a great experience
some places there will always be trapped in the 1950's like the deco decadent casinos
and viecays (terrible w/the spelling so do forgive)
a small and, at the time, very sparsely populated island
the sort of place you'd have to wait for herds of horses to cross the street before you could drive any further
you take an ocean going ferry to the island from San Juan
the american military used it to test weapons
sure you know about it
you can see the sunken ships from the beach
just left there for the fishermen to manuever around
more capitolist waste from capitol hill
I have some great photos from the island
back in the day of kodachrome
