The Dead '09 - Prequel

Yes, I agree, it's a little expensive and that's why I'm not going. But, uh, I didn't get this angry pissed off!

NICE! Thanks, btsacto and Ron. And here I thought I was going to hear a ration of shit from that anonymous lefttard from a few posts ago...

Seems like the type that would whinge about it just like Mama Crass Yelliot in the YouTube vid.

Alive and on the bus since 1974. What's your point?

Besides, without ticket sales and revenue there is no Rex foundation, among other charitable works. Anyone who thinks the Dead haven't always been capitalists is smoking dope...and too much of it.

Oh, I forgot, the O-hole will take care of all that now. We no longer need private wealth to fund charity. It will come from the government...er, taxpayers.

Listen if Deadheads want to slam people for excess, they should look first to their holy messiah who just got $100,000 from the AIG debacle, and no I don't really give a shit that the Dead support him.

Ahhhhh-HEM! 'scuse me. I rather enjoy hearing babes like her rambling in the background, while I'm sneaking a poop in the ladies room at a concert venue, because the men's line is too long. But, that Deadman guy, honestly, why all the rage? She's funny! AND fun. Relax, Deadman, slow the horses... Don't get yer panties all in a bunch, Dude. Besides, I Love Vince.

I agree with the comment above me. "Deadman" you need to chiiiillllllllll. Obviously, she hit a nerve and got the best of you. Go back and listen... its pretty fucking funny.

Regardless of the ticket prices, I'm not going. Without Jerry, there should be no "Grateful" or "Dead" in the band's name. The band should also not call themselves by any Grateful Dead song titles (ahem, "The Other Ones"). Either that or they should add the word "Lite" to the band's name, such as "Dead-Lite".

Hell, the Grateful Dead haven't been a good band since 1987, when Jerry bounced back and was on top of his game again, healthy and happy. All those bootlegs we listen to can tell you that., otherwise you just have fingers in your ears going "la la la la la can't hear you la la la la". Even before 1987, the band weren't really on their game since 1978.

Musically they were at their best from 1968-1977 and that's all I really care about, the music. The rest of this bullshit talk is about a "scene", which sucks big donkey balls anyway. It's just a bunch of trust fund babies, smelly dropouts of society trying to latch onto the past, drunken assholes and too many people who can't handle their drugs properly. What is the big fucking deal about this upcoming tour? You got me on that one, because I can't believe this is the best anyone has to offer.. and this comes from a HUGE fan of The Grateful Dead.

one says one number and the other another
but they were set at the same time. Hmmm...

i love you amy uzarski. always!
