Does my heart good to see these youngins capture what Jerry termed his "transient Art-works". This gal & her pals absolutely NAILED Brokedown. And contributed their own Country brand to it. Thanx, Zoom, as I hadn't ever heard of this lass. I shall now be seeking Furthur performances of hers...
Timmy, thanks for your comment, my friend! I'm so glad you watched it and dug it.
Couple years ago I was "renting" music from Napster-To-Go and I was trying out some Dead covers when I stumbled on Adrienne Young. I heard her studio version and I thought it was the most wonderful version of a Dead song ever done by anyone outside of the Dead. Absolutely outstanding.
A few weeks ago, someone at Lost Sailor's Pub started a thread about cover songs so I went and looked for some on Youtube and I found Adrienne Young again.
I'll see if I can eventually track down the album this on and post it up. Good stuff!
