Zoo,

It's an interesting read. (And, some insight to who's behind terrorism...)

It's Zoooma, 3 o's.

And I started to read the link the first time you put it in a comment but after a paragraph or two I quit because the writer is so full of hatred that he can't look at the situation objectively. That kind of hateful close-mindedness will get society nowhere positive. That kind of hateful close-mindedness will also make America a more dangerous place to live our everyday lives.

If we up and leave Afghanistan, the Taliban takes over. The Taliban is al-Qaeda's protector. . . just like before 9/11. There are other issues such as women's rights under the Taliban and other human rights issues but harboring al-Qaeda is certainly the most serious. The United States can't allow that to happen. And while England and France and Spain aren't exactly willing to get more involved, they're thankful that we're trying to keep their asses safe, as well. Up and leaving Afghanistan is not an option and thankfully President Obama realizes that. He was probably pushed into that reality by other people who truly know more about the seriousness of the situation and the implications of leaving, but in the end it's Obama's decision and he's making the right one.

And now I don't even know why I'm freakin' typing all of this because this post isn't even about Afghanistan.

No more links from biased hateful and/or conspiracy-based sites.

Zoooma (I counted - 3 o's),

Not reading the entire piece you display a little "closed-mindedness".

I don't detect hatred - just facts.

The piece is well-researched (with more than 90 links to credible supporting documentation), and fairly well-written.

It is not limited to Afghanistan. It is actually a good examination of military operations, militarized economy, reasons and events leading to U.S. occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan, who is profitting and who is paying, economic and psychological impacts on society - a LOT of good information.

Give it a full shot - you might learn something.

(Countering propaganda is not the same as conspiracy-based.)

Do you understand English? I'm not going to read from a biased website filled with hatred.

One can't properly gather information and come to their own decision when what they're reading has an agenda in every sentence.

Zoo,

"a biased website filled with hatred", "an agenda in every sentence." - this from FoxNews's biggest cheerleader?!?!

And, WHERE is this "hatred" you babble about? Honestly, you have my sympathy - events in your personal life must have addled you completely (that's more than usual) delusional.

Fine. Go to bed tonight IGNORANT. Like every other night. I tried...

A) I am not Fox News' biggest cheerleader. I stand up for them just as I'd stand up for anyone being unfairly picked on.

B) Don't tell me you're saying Fox News is biased and hate-filled. If that was true, they'd be saying vile things about people. They don't (they're not MSNBC.) Also if it was true, they'd never have people on the air giving opposing points of view to what the Republicans are saying. THEY DO ALL THE TIME... okay, maybe not on Glenn Beck's program but give the guy some credit, if he says anything false on the air, he's willing to take a phone call from the White House so they can correct him. Have they ever called? No.

Good God, man, wake up. That website you linked has 5,000 times more of an agenda than Fox News. Again -- watch the darn channel, pay attention, and you'll actually see DEMOCRATS who are on Pelosi's & Reid's & Obama's side. If Fox was biased and hateful, they would not allow the viewing public to hear such points of view. Hmmm... but they do.

Zooooooma, (twice the o than I thought?)

The website I passed-on doesn't favor republicker OR democrap! It just tells it like it IS. Except for "The ELITE", we're FUCKED. End of story. Unless you believe in miracles...(used up 1980 at Lake Placid - in my opinion.)

By the way, I *know* that Pelosi is a sell-serving fuckface/cunt. I honestly don't know for sure about Reid(?), but I suspect he's a piece of shit. I *AM* feeling a little betrayed by Obama...more and more he looks like "just the next in line" (another employee/fugurehead) - read the piece...it's NON-partisan. And, if there is an agenda, SO BE IT!! It's targetting the fuckwads who OWN and RULE the world - "Bilderbergs",
"The ELITE", "Lords".

And, again I ask, WHERE is this "hatred" you babble about? We both know that FoxNews is full of shit - that's a given, and in this context, a distraction/avoidance.

"Good God"? If I believed, I'd suggest He help you - you're lost.

I tried.

You're right, I am lost but not in all areas of my life -- I can see clearly through the Bilderbergs/World Government pulling all the strings conspiracy idiocy. As screwed up as the mainstream media is, why do they not bother to take the time to investigate that crap and scream at the top of their lungs that there are things Americans need to be aware of? Again -- not even Glenn Beck goes there. Why not? BECAUSE IT'S ALL FANTASY. Give it a rest.

P.S. that link you offered IS full of hatred. 1, 2, 3 take a step back and if you're able to, read it objectively and see who the writer puts down. That's hatred. But hey, without God in your life, hatred is subjective, isn't it? Anyway, one can very easily write facts without putting people down. There's just no need for that and it's crap that I don't wanna read. Ever.

Examples of putting people down? Hatred? I just don't see it.

Who OWNS the mainstream media?

BECAUSE IT'S ALL A FANTASY - "The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist."

It's quite clear from this exchange (and some in the past) who is brain-washed and close-minded.

So true and so sad. Sometimes people just won't open their mind to other points of view. They often won't even try. It's an elitist thing, ya know -- they know they're right and everyone else can go to hell because their opinion and their thinking and even if they have facts, they're still all wrong. It truly is a disease amongst not all but so many liberals. They just won't open their eyes and theirs minds to reality. Saddest part is they won't even try.

Zoooma,

"Sometimes people just won't open their mind to other points of view." "They often won't even try." "Saddest part is..." -- Did you finally make it to a mirror?

True confessions.

(How many tines must you trot out the old standby - "...a disease amongst not all but so many liberals"? It's ALWAYS those who don't fit into your definition of "conservative". I'm a little surprised - no "libtards" or other childish attempts at derogatory?)

I wanna call you a dooshbag so badly... but that would be mean and I just can't do it.

Dude, I'm always open to listening to a LEGITIMATE opposing viewpoint... so long as it's not hate-filled. I don't know where you get the idea I'm close-minded. You don't even know me, you don't know how the heck my mind works.

Look, close-mindedness works for liberals and conservatives alike but it's been proven that more liberals are close-minded and not willing to listen to opinion from the other side of an issue. That truly is a disease because it doesn't help unite people one bit. All it does is drive the idea that one side is right and the other is wrong.

one says one number and the other another
but they were set at the same time. Hmmm...
