Maybe I shouldn't have said it doesn't happen here but how often do you think death from starvation occurs in America and the other most industrialized, civilized & free nations?

I don't bet money but I'm ready to bet every cent on Earth that's ever been printed that's it not quite once every 3 seconds like it does across so much of Africa and other severely impoverished nations.

This might sound callous as hell but I don't care too much about problems here at home when problems around the world are 10,000 times worse. Even with all it's faults, I LOVE this wonderful country... but I don't believe in America first, I believe in taking care of the worst suffering first, no matter where it is.

Once every 3 seconds in Africa... doesn't quite compare to starvation in America. What's it in America? Like once a week? Quite a difference.Zooomahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17112098438748527228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-69713979202370211.post-25093384136456697872008-06-11T18:12:00.000-04:002008-06-11T18:12:00.000-04:00Unfortunately and sadly, children and adults do di...Unfortunately and sadly, children and adults do die of starvation in America and other civilized countries. Though, I agree its bizarre how so many bad things happen when others just spend money on materialistic things.

Good list.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01172872802203092974noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-69713979202370211.post-82681173572789156802008-06-10T11:05:00.000-04:002008-06-10T11:05:00.000-04:00not all feet are. and summertime's beach time! No longer can I wear the 99 cent ones I did as a lil' girl.
I wear my lace up ropers close to 9 months of the year and flip flops/bare feet the rest of the time when the temp is at a steady 100 for weeks on end.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-69713979202370211.post-25711533291215615422008-06-08T16:03:00.000-04:002008-06-08T16:03:00.000-04:00Great mutterings. You're right about how people dea...Great mutterings.
You're right about how people deal with their money.

You can find my mutterings ::here::

Have a great week!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09206799121622681828noreply@blogger.com
