It's just that it's got... I dunno, kind of a weird sound at times, in The E Street Shuffle and definitely in Wild Billy's Circus Story. Because of that, the album doesn't feel like it has great flow to it from first note to last. And interestingly, at least to me, while I love Springsteen's later stuff -- this and Greetings blows all that away, I think. Night and day... that (later) stuff is great, this is just... seriously right now am without words to make a proper comparison.

---

And Sugar Mag! No walnuts but your mention of that ingredient reminded me how much I love making cinnamon and walnut pancakes with flax seeds... soooooo good. And none of that Aunt Jemima's or Mrs Butterworth's... real syrup from Vermont or New Hampshire! Mmmm!

I'd rather eat fruit for breakfast... who'm I kidding, I'd rather gorge myself on bacon and pancakes! But I don't very often so yesterday was a treat.

Thanks about the running :) Wasn't so difficult to get my run in, something I had to do! And yeah, awesome that I'm back outside!

And lastly... I was about to start uploading each song here, and for Bruce's debut, so you, and others, could listen to tunes individually if you wanted... almost accommodated you there but I'm really wanting to do (upload) a bunch o' GD-related stuff in the coming days (more 1966 going right now) and with slow-speed internet, and with days only having 24 hours, and only about 50 or 60 years of life left, I'll offer you this alternative (if you want and if you're unfamiliar):

http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

Click the top choice - WinRAR 3.71

It's a free download. It expires in a month but after that you can keep it and it'll work just fine. That program will unzip .rar files. Pretty simple... I have the utmost confidence you can handle it.

If that doesn't interest you then hey, no worries :) ...thought I'd fill you in just in case.

Another listening alternative for albums might be Rhapsody.Zooomahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17112098438748527228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-69713979202370211.post-45815753292356194052008-05-12T22:00:00.000-04:002008-05-12T22:00:00.000-04:00mmm banana and chocolate. Awesome!

I've never been a big fan of Bruce Springsteen, but it's been awhile and I have never listened to his early stuff. I will have to check it out.Sugarmaghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16796700490216789298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-69713979202370211.post-1417933321836790492008-05-12T21:50:00.000-04:002008-05-12T21:50:00.000-04:00While Greetings is among the most listened to albu...While Greetings is among the most listened to albums of my lifetime, The Wild, The Innocent, and the E Street Shuffle is probably my favorite Bruce album.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
