Grateful Dead (+ related) Shows & Albums: Whole List

*** If you're reading this, I'm probably dead by suicide. It's amazing how one woman can destroy a man's life, seemingly without any care whatsoever. I was once one of the most important people in the world to her. I never imagined that I'd have to end my life to get rid of so much pain. All I wanted was for things to get better, to return to listening to this great music, to have a normal life. But she made sure that would never be.

If any links are not working, I'm sorry.

Grateful Dead Steal Your Face Play Dead

Enjoy the tunes.

Zooma, haven't grabbed anything yet but will eventually. There are some tasty tidbits. What you're doing here is "grately" appreciated. Why don't you drop in at Deadhook more often?

I just discovered the Dead a few weeks ago, and I had a roommate in grad school who had been on tour with them! I am a little slow. I discovered your blog in the search for shows and I wanted to give you my thanks. I thought there would be more Dead blogs than I am finding. I appreciate your efforts.

And thanks to everyone who's commented on this post and others!

It's individuals like yourself who keep the flame forever burning, and I thank you for that, truly.

Hey now. I am leaving you a comment and it's my first time here - I linked through Grateful Breed's blog - thanks for your efforts on The Long Strange Trip and (HEY NOW!) it's only a couple more months until The Dead hit "the road" for Spring Tour 2009

How do I upload some shows to you? To your e-mail address? I have a great collection of Phil & Phriends from various venues since 1998; also Peter Rowan, Merle, Tuna etc etc.

Zoooma said...

Hey Now Adam Dean,

All the Phil shows are at Archive.org and I don't even time to enjoy those. Life's just too short for all the great music there is. My head's already spinning from what I have. But listen, your offer is most appreciated! Maybe you can find a way to share what you have. Start your own blog or just upload to Rapidshare, for instance, and start a thread at The Lost Sailor's Pub and tell people there what you've uploaded.

Thanks for the comment and for letting me know.

And thanks for all the comments. WAY too many people download all the damn time without every saying anything so it's good to hear from some of ya's every now and again.

Peace.

Hope you haven't actually harmed yourself, but this blog went from Grateful to Hateful in a short time. Consider the possibility that it's you who changed and not your woman? Hope it works out for you.

Zooma,
I too read your post with horror. I just have to say this, do not take your life over a failed love, you can find another, as I just heard the other night on NYE during Wharf Rat "get up and fly away", Dust yourself off, and keep on walking the road of life. My best friend from childhood killed himself this summer and it's left deep pain and worry in my head and heart. The Why, the how. Don't do it. It's hard to move on from love you've enjoyed for a long time, but things change as do people.
I've enjoyed gnabbing things off here and I'd love to see you continue on in happiness.
